2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Readies for New York Auto Show

Dodge has been teasing the new 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon for weeks now. In the latest teaser video Dodge reveals that the Demon will feature a unique version of Dodge's Performance Pages data display.

Owners will be able to access the Performance Pages through an 8.4-inch UConnect touchscreen infotainment system, and can display real-time graphs showing horsepower and torque; gauges for engine temperature, oil pressure, air-fuel ratio, boost pressure, and more. Those pages usually control power output, suspension, steering and drive modes.

Like the Hellcat, Demon will use a liquid-to-air intercooler. Yet, the Demon will get a factory application of an after-run chiller, this keeps the cooling fans and intercooler pump running after the car has shut down until it reaches a target temperature. The Demon, of course, will have its own set of drive modes which include Street, Drag, and Custom. They all have different tuning options, however the Custom lets you mix and match performance components from Street and Drag.

We're excited for the big reveal next April at the New York auto show!
